Bennett Street at Work in 1901
Bennett Street, Buxton was a street built for working class people between 1878 and 1899. By 1901 it contained around 90 houses. Elizabeth Wildgoose has put together a list of the different kinds of jobs people who lived here were doing at the time of the 1901 census.
